Everyone knows that exercise is important. However, some people still do not exercise. I think there are a lot of people who do not make exercise/fitness a priority. Are you one of these people?
What Do You Care About?
If you care about your health and body, you need to start making fitness a priority. What you do now to your body will affect you in the future. If you care about your family, you need to start making fitness a priority. Your family loves you and they want you healthy and happy. You can even be a great example to your family and possibly help change their lives for the better.
What Are Your Priorities?
I want you to take a few minutes and think about what your priorities in life are right now. I’m serious! Did you do it? I’m guessing watching TV or going on Facebook is not one of your priorities. Do you still take time out during your day to do these things? I’m guilty too. I spend more time than I should watching TV and going on Facebook. The fact that I recently introduced myself to the TV show, Hart of Dixie, does not help-lol. However, I do make fitness a priority and workout 6 days a week. Im not saying you shouldn’t watch TV or go on Facebook, but prioritize fitness before these other activities. When I began my fitness journey, I started earning my TV time. If I wanted to watch an hour long TV show, I had to workout for an hour before I could watch.
Schedule
We need to start taking control of our days instead of letting our days control us. You now know what your priorities are; schedule these priorities in your day. Try it. Loot at your schedule for tomorrow and block out 30 minutes for fitness/exercise. Scheduling fitness is the first step to actually acting according to your priorities. Either health and fitness is a priority or it isn’t. Im afraid if it is not a priority and you are not willing to make it a priority; you will regret it one day.
